Product Reviews

“Natural products are too expensive”

“Natural deodorant doesn’t work.”

“Organic makeup won’t last like the other brands on the market”

Many of us have heard similar statements before. The important thing to keep in mind here, is that those who express these types of sentiments are likely uninformed on the bounty of mother nature’s gifts and unaware of the incredible lengths that natural product- makers go in creating certain products. Still, others who might bash natural products might have just had underwhelming experiences with them. (yikes!)

Let’s face it, there are tons of products on the market! So how are we supposed to know what to choose when we want to use top quality, affordable, great- smelling, perfect- working, super- lovely natural products?

This is where I pop into the equation. I have tried product after product. Luckily, though, I have wasted countless dollars, euros and pounds in my “trying endeavours” so that you don’t have to. I’ve come to learn that a solid review can be the difference from wasting $ after $ after $ and discovering something that you never want to live without.

Within this site you’ll find thorough reviews on the best natural- living products that I’ve discovered and why they rank so high on my natural loving list.

I have such a passion for natural products and absolutely love the little things involved, like discovering an all- natural mascara that is affordable, looks incredible, and doesn’t smudge or run. Finding a hair product for my curls that gives definition, bounce and leaves out the heavy silicones and no- no chemicals.

There are fab products for all of us natural living lovers and it is my mission to uncover and share the ones that give us what we are looking for!

Manika- Nia, Can you Try This Product?

If you have a natural product that I have yet to review and would like me to try it out and post about it, don’t hesitate to ask by leaving a comment and I will be sure to incorporate it in the very near future.

  1. Your blog seems very interesting. I would like to learn more about natural beauty products because it is hard to trust commercial beauty products in the market today that promises youth and beauty yet damages our skin in the long run. I would choose mother nature’s by-products because I believe that we are connected to it and what it can give is what is good for us.

    1. Hi Thriftymom! You are not wrong in distrusting some of the commercial beauty products on the market today. Most times when it is solely about the capital, health and well- being is not factored in to the equation. The closer something is to its natural state, the more I trust it as well. Definitely check back regularly for some great natural products, and if you find any that you’d like to share, I’d love to learn about them! Thanks

  2. Hello Manika
Yes im one of them, I DO NOT like natural products, to be honest, I think it`s just being judgemental, I have never tried any natural product to speak of, this is because I’m convinced they do not work.
Organic make up? this is something I have never tried either, I do feel they will not do as good a job not to mention they cost almost twice as much.
I enjoy top quality products, I try to buy the best my money can buy and since all products cost so much, I always chose to use what I have always known.
Reading your post male me want to try some natural cosmetics but then I`d not even know where to start, but will try some of your suggestions and see.It will have to be for a special occasion.

    1. hi Roamy, thank you so much for your comment! It was very honest and I appreciate that so much! I’m glad that you are open to trying some natural products out. I’d recommend any product from the BareMinerals line as those products are my absolute favourites. I’ll be posting some affordable natural products that work superbly so be sure to check back for them. Also please share any experiences you might have with natural products. Good or bad. :

  3. I like your quote by Einstein, very cool. Also you have an amazing site. I love your dedication to Naturel earth elements for a better and healthier looking You. I would go for anything natural that doesn’t have all those crazy hard to read words and ingredients. Have even heard of using eggs in your hair, guess I’m not crazy enough to try that one yet, lol. Also head of using an avocado for conditioner in your hair, have you heard of that? I am a man who loves his hair, LOL!

    1. “I am a man who loves his hair” Excellent!!! I love that! Yes avocado is incredibly rich for both the skin and hair. I make a monthly treatment of yoghurt, olive oil, avocado, honey, and a bit of coconut oil for my hair and it does wonders. I also juice every day and avocado is always involved in the mix. Thanks for the comment. 🙂

  4. Hey, Manika I really like the content you created here. You give a plethora of helpful tips and provide a ton of value! I also like the personality that comes out your posts. Great job! 🙂

  5. Hey Nia i think this site is amazing and so informative i love that it touches so many different aspects , i personally love everything natural , and healthy from lifestyle to the products i use on my body everyday . 🙂

    1. Hi Sara, thanks fr the awesome comment! I’m with you the natural, healthy aspects of living and love that you are every conscious of what you use on your body each day! Do you have a favorite brand or like to make your own, more?

  6. I, too, try to use natural products on my hair, and yes I find them to be more expensive than the silicones/preservative/petrolatum/lanolin and what-not full products. But I see it as an investment. So many people don’t know that these ingredients are detrimental to our health. Not only the bounciness of our hair but even to our brain and our hormonal system. Chemicals do have an impact on our health, so trying to stay away from them as much as possible is what I do. My rule of thumb? If I can’t eat it, I can’t put it on my hair…. Of course, I’m not perfect and I will sometime fall for the smelling fresh product, but more rarely than before.
    Great site, again!
    Didi

    1. It is great that you are so aware and your rule of thumb is also one that I like to stick to as much as possible. I also like to get as much info as possible from the company who makes the product and it helps to hear what my natural-loving peers say about certain products. A favorite to some can easily be a favorite to me as well!

  7. Hi Manika! I’m interested in using Noogleberry, but before I purchase it I wanted to know if it has given you permanent growth? I saw on your YouTube channel that you did grow an inch and a half in breast size, but has this been permanent Or did they go back to previous size? Also, has there been other virtual breast enlargement message that you have use that have produced growth?Thank you for your advice and assistance!
